If you can choose to be anything… choose to be kind!

🌼Good Morning! 🌼

We come across numerous opportunities to help others through actions, words or financial assistance.

Take an example of a needy person on the road who begs you for money. How many times does it cross your mind that this person might not be genuine, probably into drugs or a staged performer. Your judgement might be right however, refrain from hurting them with voicing it.

Develop the habit where you divert your mind voice from judgement. Instead, make the decision if you can help or not and leave it at that.

It is the same when others you may know or don’t know request you for help. Check if you are able to help them else leave out the judgements and the opinions on why they seek your help.

This world has a lot of pain and difficulty that some cannot voice out. There is struggle in balancing the many roles people have to juggle. In fact, for a person to come forward and seek help of any form shows they still trust the goodness in this world. Therefore, do not ruin their perception of the goodness they see in this world by petty opinions, judgement and shaming.

This post serves as a reminder to me as to you. We all need to be reminded that eventhough people ask us for help, it does not put us in a higher pedestal to hurt or judge them. This does not in any way mean you encourage scammers. However, use your judgement in an empathetic manner and help in any way you can. If you are unable to, refrain from hurting others.

Have a blessed day! 🌼
Lots of Love,
